If you are planning to take your podcasts with you on a mass storage device like a USB drive or an e-reader, you may want to consider installing your podcast receiver as a portable application on your mass storage device rather than installing it on your computer.
Installing the podcast receiver as a portable application gives you the following advantages:
- Podcast can be downloaded directly onto the device (no need to copy/sync podcasts from your computer)
- Podcasts can be downloaded using any computer (the podcast receiver resides on the mass storage device and can be executed using any computer with which it is compatible)
- Using Window's Autorun feature podcasts can automatically be downloaded when you connect your mass storage device to your PC
Below you will find a portable version of Juice (Windows only) that can be run from a mass storage device.
To install:
- Extract portablejuice.zip to the top-level directory of your mass storage device, you can start Portable Juice by opening '[MASS STORAGE DEVICE:]\PortableJuice\PortableJuice.exe' (using a Windows PC)
- To automatically start Portable Juice when the device is connected to your PC also extract autorun.zip to the top-level directory of your device.
WARNING: this might override any existing autorun files (autorun.inf or autorun.bat) on your device, you may want to backup these files first.

The version of Portable Juice that can be downloaded here is essentialy the same is the one from FramaKey but uses a modified configuration making it better suitable for non-french speaking e-reader owners.
